Clearing some shelf space…

Our club has been accumulating games for the past 3 years and you might have noticed that we have been overflowing our game closet.  We’ve decided to auction off some of the games that don’t see much play time in order to make sure we have the types of games on our shelves that will get played and borrowed.

There is currently an auction list on Board Game Geek where you can bid on these games or purchase them as a “Buy It Now.”  It is free to make an account on Board Game Geek and it’s also a great resource for games.

Please note that the auction list contains items from a bunch of different sellers that will be attending the Unity Games convention.  You are more than welcome to attend Unity Games and purchase games from other sellers.  But only the games listed by Mike Cross (mcross) are from the club (or my personal collection).  If you’d like to see a list of just our games, click here and look at the first 4 pages of items.  If you purchase one of our games I’d be happy to deliver it to you at our next game club meeting.

Happy bidding!

Thanks for a great game day!

Thanks to all who braved the snow and traffic to join us for our 3rd semi-annual game day!  It was a small (but dedicated!) group.  I counted a grand total of 14 people.  We had some great games going including some new ones and a couple of old favorites.

A big shout out to Diversions Games for providing some awesome door prizes!

Gaming Marathon – January 10th!

The Bacon Board Gamers will be hosting our All-Day Gaming Marathon on Friday, January 10th from 10am to 8pm in room E260 of the Science building.  We will have reserved parking for visitors in the Spurk parking lot (see a map of the college here).  When you arrive on campus the Public Safety officers will direct you to the Spurk lot.

Feel free to bring your own games or play the games we have in the library.  We will have open gaming as well as door prizes courtesy of Diversions Games!

No game night tonight

The college is officially closed due to the snow so unfortunately we have to cancel our game night tonight.  But we will still be having our all-day gaming marathon Jan. 10th starting at 10am.

See you there!
